E-learning reflection

1. Have I achieved my learning goals? How did I make that happen? Were my learning strategies effective and efficient? Can they be improved?
2. Were the group processes supporting our group learning? Why and why not? How can I/we improve?

The learning journey was agnoising, but an interesting one so far. Honestly, i wont say that i have achieved my learning goals (i didnt set any in the first place), but i can proudly say that my equipped boundary has extended.

Been in a comfort zone for many years, the e-learning process has definitely stretched my learning curve. Learning from/with/through a computer requires
1) discipline
There is simply too much distraction from the computer. Internet, PC game, they are just within click. Hence, it takes double effort for me to restrain from clicking those icons so as to focus on the task that i am required to complete. If i am restraining myself, i wonder how the students would feel?

2) time management
A lot of time is spent on reading materials, reading others' comment, others' comments on comments; it takes so many sessions to log in and yet still find that there are so much reading. Hence, time management is definitely one important area to work on.

3) patience
Although it could be interactive at time, the response may not be as fast that i wanted to compare to F2F. For example, there is a waiting period before i receive the comment on my first post etc.

I have yet to find the learning advantage from group processes.
